QUINTE CONSERVATION WORKING IN THE MOIRA RIVER IN
BELLEVILLE NEXT WEEK
Quinte Conservation is taking advantage of low water levels to do some work in the Moira River
next week just below the McLeod Dam in Belleville. General Manager Terry Murphy says,
“People will notice some heavy equipment in the bed of the Moira River next week. We have
received all the necessary permits for the work which will improve water flow for the hydro dam
and also improve fish habitat.”
